Beginning of the End (aka The Third Trimester)

To celebrate the beginning of my third trimester, John and I spent the weekend painting the baby's room. We started painting Friday night around 10pm and finished with the stripes late Sunday afternoon. The base coat was easy, the stripes were difficult. But it's done and we love how it turned out!

John edging at 11:00 at night!

Taping the room for stripes.

Good thing we like being next to one another!

Relaxing after the work was done.

Now we just need to set up the furniture and hang the accessories that we inherited on the ceiling!

I also had another doctor's appointment last week and failed my glucose test. I have to go in for a three hour glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. Cross your fingers for me! Other than that, the doctor said that the baby's heartbeat was strong and my stomach was measuring right where it should be (they say about a centimeter for each week you are - I was 26 weeks and my stomach was 26 centimeters!)

John and I start our baby classes this week at North Memorial. Hopefully the experience will make us more excited and not frighten us too much! It will be fun to meet other couples that are having babies soon too!
