Easter Sunday 2009

Unfortunately, we have a serious lack of pictures from 2009 Easter. Our sweet little bunny ended up being sick from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon. So in between doing laundry and changing diapers for three days, we didn't get to do nearly as many Easter activities as we were hoping too. The eggs were all hard boiled and ready to dye. Auntie Carrie had the plastic eggs ready for Reagan's own Easter egg hunt. but we didn't get to do any of it. We did go to the late mass (and long mass) and joined my mom's family for brunch afterwards. Reagan was a good sport even though she didn't feel well and had eaten nothing for three days.

Seeing what the Easter bunny brought her (new pajamas for the summer, Seasame Street stickers, sidewalk chalk and a soccer ball!) The most we could get out of her was this half smile.

I almost forgot the picture of our Easter colored pancake breakfast made by John the master pancake artist! This seems to be becoming a tradition for all holidays!

A couple things to note about this Easter Sunday:

Two years ago on Easter Sunday (about the same weekend as this year), John and I announced to my mom's family that Reagan was coming in November! This weekend, my cousin John and his wife Wendy told us they are now expecting this coming November too! November 18 to be exact. Wendy is also the fourth person in my cousin Amanda's wedding party to find out she was pregnant since Amanda started planning her wedding! That's 50% of us that are having babies! The other 4 better be careful!

Sunday was also the sixth anniversary of John and I's first kiss. Time sure flies!
