Playmat & Smiles

I'm getting tired of always strapping Reagan into things like her carseat, the swing, and the highchair when we're in the kitchen. I also wanted a place where she could spit up without having to clean blankets every day. I ordered this foam playmat for her to play on in the living room while I clean up in the kitchen, look at the mail or "cook" dinner.

Trying it out.
We only put half the alphabet down because otherwise it would be too big for the space we have. When John got home, he was trying to teach her how to spell, but the words were limited to those with A-L letters only! He was happy because he could spell D-A-D.

I have a hard time catching her smiles on camera when it's just the two of us. I can make her smile but then when I aim the camera and push the button, the light distracts her. By the time the camera takes the picture her smile is gone. I was happy when John got home on Friday night because he could get her to smile while I took the pictures. Here are two of the cute ones:

I love her gummy smile!

Looking adoringly at daddy
