I was going to make this into separate posts, but there's a lot going on at the McCarthy house and I don't have much time to post pictures.
I started the above post this morning around 7 am and it is now 13 hours later and I'm finally finishing it. All the pictures disappeared so I'll have to repost those later.
We had quite the busy weekend . . .
On Friday night, our neighbors, Kim and Bryan, were home for the night and came to visit us. Boy, were we shocked when they asked Reagan if she wanted a playmate in 7 months!!! I thought they meant a puppy, but they surprised everyone by telling us they were having a baby! I don't know how Kim kept it in all the times we had hung out. Baby's due December 7th, but I'm pulling for the 8th and John's hoping for the 5th. We're so excited for you, Kim and Bryan!

Kim and Bryan practicing their pose for all the family pictures they will need to take next year!
John teaching Bryan the fine art of baby push-ups.
On Saturday, John and I took Reagan to her first Twins game. She loved looking at all the lights and the people around her. I wasn't so happy when she became mesmerized by John's beer and started reaching for it.
On Sunday, my friend Sadie came over and taught me how to sew a tote. It's a good thing Sadie knew what she was doing because left to me, my tote would not nearly resemble the beautiful bag that you see here. Thanks, Sadie!
It's reversible!
On top of all our scheduled activities, Reagan keeps us VERY busy these days. I'm shocked that at 5 months old I have to run around as much as I do.
Changing her diaper is a challenge these days. Bend over too far and she grabs my hair like in the picture. Her new trick is to pull my hair and push my head away with her feet. She thinks I'm screaming because its so much fun, but really I'm screaming because it hurts.
Reagan grabs for everything now. If you're holding it, she wants it, especially if it a)makes noise or b)is shiny or c)is dangerous (i.e. a fork)
