I don't know what's sweeter . . . hearing those three magical words from the person you're going to one day marry or hearing them for the first time from your child.
As part of our night time "ritual," John and I kiss and hug Reagan and of course, say "I love you." Most of the time she'll repeat it back to us. Tonight, however, as I was about to lay her in her crib and say those words, I heard "La lu" in her sweet, little Reagan voice. She said it to me first! I love her sweet little voice and it's even sweeter when she says "La lu."
