The End of an Era
With Lindsay going back to work, John gets to do "kid drop off" on Wednesday and Thursday. Since the kids were going to be in John's car more regularly, it was time to increase the number of doors on his car (from two to four). Luckily, Jan, Lindsay's Mom, was looking at getting a new car too. So, we bought Lindsay's Mom's car which is now John's car.
Tonight, someone is supposed to come pick up John's old car (we sold it on Carsoup). So, goodbye fun car!

Pumpkin Picking
Today, we went out to Apple Jack's orchard to pick up our pumpkins. Before going too far, we had to fuel up.
After that, it was decision time. There were plenty of Reagan & Dylan size pumpkins out there. Apparently we were late in the season. The big ones were pretty well picked over. We picked up two little pumpkins from Apple Jacks. One the way home, we stopped again at Ann's Pumpkins and picked up two great John & Lindsay size gourds.
And, the winner was (with coffee still in hand)
Apple Jack's was great because they also had goats (and chickens and ponies). But, as you can see below, the goats were the favorite.
