I can't believe Dylan is four months old already! The time is just rushing by! I'm sure I'll say that every month, but he just seems so much older now!
Here's Dylan's official weigh in:
13 lbs. 10 oz.
24 5/8 inches
Some fun things at 4 months old:
- Yes, his hair still sticks up and yes, it is still a mohawk! A long mohawk!
- Dylan mastered rolling from his back to his tummy just last week! It has caused us some sleepless nights in the McCarthy household because he gets mad when he gets stuck on his stomach and Mommy is worried about SIDS.
- Dylan is a little laugher. His favorite game is peek a boo. When he's not laughing he's at least smiling (unless he's hungry). He is such a happy little boy!
- Dylan is quite content with his thumb or nothing at all. I especially love when he falls asleep sucking his thumb.
- Dylan discovered his feet and all the fun they bring. He loves to hold on to his socks and is fascinated by his feet when his socks are off.
- His voice is getting louder and louder. He seems to be imitating some of the tantrums we've seen lately, only he usually has a smile on his face.
- On a normal night, when we're not working on rolling over, Dylan still wakes up every 3 hours. According to our doctor, we need to work on that and try to get him to sleep through the night (or at least 6-8 hours without eating). It's so hard when he's in our room, because we hear him the minute he wakes up. We try to grab him before we have two kids awake.
So big!
Did you see my feet?!
Peek a boo!
Smiley boy!
